Education in 2045: What Kind of Future Are We Preparing Our Children For?

As a parent and educator, I often wonder what kind of world my children will face in 20 years, especially given how quickly artificial intelligence is changing education.Finland, one of the world's top education systems, has a beautiful vision for 2045: “Education for Life.” Instead of focusing only on jobs and academic success, they want to prepare children for meaningful lives, strong relationships, and living in harmony with our planet.This vision makes perfect sense to me. In a future where AI will handle many technical tasks, teachers will have more time to focus on what truly matters: emotional support, mentoring, creativity, and character development.That’s why arts education is becoming more important than ever. When children paint, create, and express themselves freely, they naturally develop:
